The proposed conservatory extension and associated entrance steps would harm the special architectural and historic interest of this listed building through the projection beyond the prevailing rear building line coupled with the strong corner element, and incongruous flank wall entrance steps and glass structure, contrary to policies of the development plan, in particular policy CL4 of the Core Strategy adopted 8 December 2010.
