1)

By virtue of its projection, materials and design, the proposed conservatory would harm the special architectural and historic character of the listed building and the character and appearance of the conservation area. As such the proposal would conflict with Council policy, in particular Core Strategy policies CL1, CL2, CL3, CL4 and CL6 as well as 'saved' UDP policies CD48 and CD63, as well as the recommendations of the Thurloe and Smith's Charity Conservation Area.

By virtue of its location and materials the proposed rear ground floor terrace rooflight would harm the special architectural and historic interest of the listed buildng and conflict with Council policy in particular Core Strategy policy CL4 and the recommendations of the Subterranean Development Supplementary Planning Document.
