The proposal therefore does not comply with Council policy, in particular Core Strategy policy CL4.

The demolition of the rear wall of the closet wing on no.37 at upper and lower ground floor level would result in the loss of historic fabric that would cause harm to the special architectural and historic interest of the listed building. The proposal therefore does not comply with Council policy, in particular Core Strategy Policy CL4.
