Decision details

This case has not yet been decided.

Decision: Refuse Planning Permission/Consent
Decision date: 15 Feb 2013
Conditions and reasons:

1)

The proposed extension at lower and upper ground floor level on no.37 and the extension at upper ground floor level on no.38 by virtue of its bulk, height and design would fail to preserve the special architectural and historic interest of the grade II listed buildings. The proposal therefore does not comply with Council policy, in particular Core Strategy policy CL4.

2)

The demolition of the rear wall of the closet wing on no.37 at upper and lower ground floor level would result in the loss of historic fabric that would cause harm to the special architectural and historic interest of the listed building. The proposal therefore does not comply with Council policy, in particular Core Strategy Policy CL4.
