Decision details

This case has not yet been decided.

Decision: Refuse Planning Permission/Consent
Decision date: 04 Jun 2013
Conditions and reasons:

1)

The proposed extension, by reason of the design and increase in bulk and mass at roof level in this prominent location, together with the location on a terrace with a largely unaltered roofscape and the resultant loss of the butterfly roof form, would harm the appearance of the building, terrace and surrounding area. As such, the proposal is contrary to Core Strategy policies CL1 and CL2 and 'saved' UDP policies CD44 and CD45.

Informatives:

1)

Relevant Policies Used
You are advised that this application was determined by the Local Planning authority with regard to Development Plan policies including relevant policies contained within the London Plan Spatial Development Strategy for Greater London adopted July 2011; the Core Strategy adopted 8 December 2010 and the 'Saved' policies of the Unitary Development Plan adopted 25 May 2002.

2)
