Decision details

This case has not yet been decided.

Decision: Refuse Planning Permission/Consent
Decision date: 05 Nov 2013
Conditions and reasons:

1)

The proposed extension due to its height, bulk and mass creates a series of incongruous additions of varying heights and depths that fail to remain subservient to the original building. The proposal therefore does not respect the appearance of the property and would fail to preserve or enhance the character or appearance of the conservation area. The proposal would not comply with policies outlined in the Core Strategy, in particular CL1, CL2 and CL3, and policies outlined in the Unitary Development Plan, in particular CD47, CD48 and CD63.
