Decision: Raise Objections
Decision date: 28 Apr 2016
Conditions and reasons:

1)

Reason for Objection Given the strength of the Royal Borough's traditional townscape, the tall 15 storey tower would cause demonstrable harm to the setting of heritage assets as well as the local townscape. In particular, the tower would loom over the Borough boundary and the Westway and the visual impact would be harmful in this context. This has been demonstrated in the application submission, with verified townscape views. View 8, from the corner of Aldridge Road Villas, is of particular concern.
