The infilling of the spaces between the dormers, creating one long horizontal extension within the rear roofslope, would result in an addition that would be ill-fitting to the property, harmful to its appearance, and which would fail to preserve or enhance the character or appearance of the conservation area. The proposals would be contrary to policies of the development plan, in particular policies CL1, CL3, CL6 and CL8 of the Local PLan 2019, and there are not material considerations that would justify an exception to these development plan policies in tis case.
