Decision details

This case has not yet been decided.

Decision: Refuse Planning Permission/Consent
Decision date: 04 Dec 2006
Conditions and reasons:

The proposed increased height of the extension would result in it rising almost to the parapet and not being subordinate to the parent building. It would have an adverse effect on the character and appearance of the building, the terrace in which it is located and the conservation area and and could set an unfortunate precedent for other similar extensions in the locality, and therefore, is contrary to policies in the Unitary Development Plan, in particular, Policies CD27, CD47, CD61 and CD62.

Informatives:

Relevant Policies Used
