Decision: Discharge of Conditions - Refuse
Decision date: 03 Jul 2024
Conditions and reasons:

1)

The submitted Sustainable Drainage Systems Strategy fails to appropriately reduce flood risk and contribute to the sustainability of the Borough. The submitted details therefore fail to accord with policy CE2 of the 2019 Local Plan and the details submitted can not be approved.

Informatives:

1)

Unique text
The submitted Sustainable Drainage Systems Strategy fails to meet the aspirations of policy CE2 of the Local Plan. Site specific drainage calculations should be provided, and more green options (such as the inclusion of a green roof) should be considered. The report fails to demonstrate that the proposed SuDS could be achieved on the site and there is no information provided to demonstrate where the SuDS would be located. Any Sustainable Drainage Systems Strategy should include site specific calculations with reference to achieving the 50% reduction set out in policy CE2 of the Local Plan. This could be through using a round up figure.
