Decision details

This case has not yet been decided.

Decision: Refuse Planning Permission/Consent
Decision date: 23 Mar 2006
Conditions and reasons:

The loss of the garage parking space in an area of high car ownership would lead to increased parking and congestion in the area and would therefore be contrary to policies in the Unitary Development Plan, in particular Policies TR36 and TR43. The removal of the garage door and its replacement with a window, which would be the first such alteration in this terrace of properties, would be an unfortunate precedent and would therefore have an adverse effect on the property, the terrace and the conservation area and would therefore be contrary to policies in the Unitary Development Plan, in particular, Policies CD27, CD51, CD57, CD61 and CD62.
