The proposed alterations to the rear ground floor conservatory are insensitive and unsympathetic to the existing listed building and are not in keeping with the style, character, scale, bulk, proportion and rhythm of the main building and as such, would not preserve or enhance but would individually spoil and harm the existing rear elevation of the property, the terrace of properties of which this one forms a part and the Ladbroke Conservation Area as a whole and is therefore contrary to the Council's Policies which seek to preserve and enhance the character and appearance of the Borough as stated in the Council's Unitary Development Plan, in particular, Policies CD27, CD50, CD51, CD57, CD61, CD62, CD65 and CD66.
