Decision: Raise Objections
Decision date: 27 Sep 2016
Conditions and reasons:

1)

The location, height and bulk of the four towers of 16, 17, 18 and 27 storeys on plots G1, G2, H1 and H2 would harm views from within and the setting of the Lots Village, College of St Mark and St John, Billings, Brompton Cemetery, Sloane Stanley, Thames and The Boltons Conservation Areas together with the setting of the listed monuments within the Brompton Cemetery and listed buildings situated within aforementioned Conservation Areas.

2)

In the absence of an assessment of the impact of developments on the road network within the Royal Borough and the cumulative impact of developments within the West Chelsea/South Fulham area the potential impact on traffic and congestion and public transport in the Royal Borough cannot be accurately assessed.

3)

In the absence of detailed information submitted with the proposal regarding the provision of A1, A2 and A4 floorspace and its potential impact on the commercial vitality of existing Town Centres within the Royal Borough.

4)

In the absence of detailed information submitted with the proposal regarding the loss of light and overshadowing at the Borough boundary the proposal fails to demonstrate that there would not be an adverse impact in respect of loss of light and an increase in the sense of enclosure for residents of the Royal Borough.
