1)
The proposed enlargement of the rear extension and the extension at second floor level is insensitive and unsympathetic to the existing parent building and is not in keeping with the style, character, scale, bulk, proportion and rhythm of the main building, having a detrimental impact on the level of amenity for the surrounding properties and as such, would not preserve or enhance but would individually spoil and harm the existing uniform rear elevation of the property, the terrace of properties of which this one forms a part and the Ladbroke Conservation Area as a whole and is therefore contrary to the Council's Policies which seek to preserve and enhance the character and appearance of the Borough as stated in the Council's Unitary Development Plan, in particular, Policies CD27, CD35, CD47, CD50, CD51, CD57, CD61 and CD62.
