The cabinet would be located against the red and white wall of a building where it would contrast with the existing building and would be located near a corner where is would be clearly visible from Holland Park Avenue and because of its size, bulk and unsympathetic appearance would be visually obtrusive and harmful to the streetscape and would result in significant harm to the character and appearance of the Conservation Area contrary to policies CR4 and CL3.

2)

The proposed cabinet, due to its proximity to the root systems of the existing street trees, is likely to result in significant damage to trees of townscape and amenity value to the detriment of the appearance of the area contrary to policy CR6 (b)
