By virtue of its projection, materials and design, the proposed conservatory would harm the special architectural and historic character of the listed building. By virtue of its location and material the proposed rooflight to the rear ground floor terrace would also harm the special architectural and historic character of the listed building. As such the proposal would conflict with Council policy, in particular Core Strategy policy CL4.
