Decision details

This case has not yet been decided.

Decision: Refuse Planning Permission/Consent
Decision date: 20 Dec 2021
Conditions and reasons:

1)

The proposed development results in the loss of a valuable social and community use, but the application is not supported by a robust evidence base that demonstrates the re-use for the same, similar or a related use is not possible, or a change of use to an alternative social and community use. As such, the proposal would fail to meet the sequential test set out in policy CK1 of the Local Plan. The proposed development would, therefore, fail to comply with policy CK1 of the Local Plan, London Plan Policy S3 and the guidance within the NPPF.

2)

The proposed development, given the lack of a completed legal agreement ensuring the residential property would be parking permit free, the development would result in unacceptable increase in on-street parking pressure in the borough. The development would therefore be contrary to policy CT1 of the Local Plan 2019.
