Decision details

This case has not yet been decided.

Decision: Refuse Planning Permission/Consent
Decision date: 23 Oct 2020
Conditions and reasons:

1)

The loss of a residential unit through the amalgamation of the two dwellings would reduce the supply and choice of housing available within the Borough and would fail to contribute towards meeting housing targets, and fail to address housing needs for the Borough and London as a whole in not ensuring a net increase in residential accommodation. Therefore, the proposal would conflict with London Plan policy 3.14 and Local Plan policy CH1.

2)

The proposal is for a very large dwelling which would fail to optimise the number of residential units on site. As such the proposal would conflict with Local Plan policy CH1 and London Plan policy 3.4.
