The glazed skylight forms a visually intrusive and ill-fitting feature within the barrel roof, which disrupts the integrity of the roof design, harms the appearance of the building, and fails to preserve or enhance the character or appearance of the Pembridge Conservation Area. As such, the skylight is contrary to policies of the development plan, in particular policies CL1, CL3, and CL6 of the Local Plan 2019
