The proposed rear dormer, by reason of its bulk, excessive width, siting and design, would fail to read as a subordinate addition on the roofslope of the property and fail to respond to the existing character and context of the group of properties. As a result, the proposal fails to preserve or enhance the character and appearance of the conservation area in conflict with Local Plan Policies CL1, CL2, CL3, CL8, CL11.
