REASONS FOR OBJECTION:
The proposal includes 2 flues and 2 grilles facilitating plant within a new plant room. Due to the absence of sufficient information regarding the installed plant and lack of a noise report insufficient information has been submitted with the application to demonstrate that the impact upon residents of Princes Gate Mews, in terms of noise and disturbance, would be acceptable. This is contrary to policies CL5 and CE6 of the Consolidated Local Plan 2015 and guidance in the Council's Noise Supplementary Planning Document.
The cumulative impact of the grilles and flues, due to their unusual siting and utilitarian appearance, would fail to preserve or enhance the character or appearance of the building and Queen's Gate Conservation Area. This is contrary to policies CL1, CL2, CL3, CL6 and CL11 of the Consolidated Local Plan.
