The five internally illuminated advertising displays sited at three locations around the road network would be detrimental to the amenity of the area by way of their size, siting and illumination and would be detrimental to public safety as the advertisements would cause a distraction to road users potentially resulting in accidents occurring on the road network contrary to the aims of Policy CD76.
