Decision details

This case has not yet been decided.

Decision: Split decision
Decision date: 16 Jun 2023
Conditions and reasons:

Grant Consent For T1 Magnolia - Crown Reduce by Approx 2-3m to close to established reduction points.

Reason For Refusal The tree is a healthy mature specimen covered by Tree Preservation Order and with a good level of visual amenity. Historically, the tree has been managed by cyclical crown reduction and I see no reason why this tree should not continue to be managed in a similar way.. Such specific pruning as that specified would leave this good quality tree withan unbalanced canopy.

Refuse Permission For Cutback to boundary by approximately 4m on North side.
