The proposed 'video wall' would be uncharacteristic and unsympathetic to the character and appearance of the host building. It would fail to preserve the visual amenity of the streetscene. The proposal would thereby be contrary to policies CL1, CL2 and CR4 of the Local Plan and the Council's adopted Shopfront SPD.
