The proposed development, because of its height, depth and siting in proximity to the rear skylight serving the kitchen and ground floor area of adjoining property no.1 Snarsgate Street, would harmfully increase the sense of enclosure to this property. It would fail to ensure good living conditions for the occupants of 1 Snarsgate Street and other neighbouring properties, contrary to policy CL5 of the Local Plan 2019.

The proposed development, because of its height, depth and siting in proximity to the rear skylight serving the kitchen and ground floor area of adjoining property no.1 Snarsgate Street, would result in a material worsening in the standard of daylight and sunlight received within, htereby failing to ensure good living conditions for the occupants of 1 Snarsgate Street, contrary to policy CL5 of the Local Plan 2019.
