Link your Council Tax account

How to link your Council Tax Account

When you're ready to link your Council Tax Account, click or tap the 'Sign in' button and follow the on-screen instructions.

Sign in

You will need to:

  1. Enter your email address. The email address you used to create your MyRBKC Account.
  2. Enter your Password. The password you created when you created your MyRBKC Account.
  3. Click or tap the sign in button.
  4. Click on Council Tax and Housing Benefits.
  5. Select Council Tax to link your Council Tax account.
  6. Select either a resident or a company.
  7. If you are a resident, enter the following information:
    • Title (optional)
    • First name or initial
    • Last name
    • Postcode
    • Council Tax account number
  8. If you are a company, enter the following information:
    • Company name
    • Postcode
    • Council Tax account number
  9. Click or tap the Authenticate button.
  10. If successful, you will be able to view your council tax account immediately.

Important information

If there is an X in the Council Tax account number, it must be entered in ‘Upper case’ as it is case sensitive.

Help with linking your Council Tax account

If you have not been able to link your council tax account:

  • Check the details you entered are the same that is shown on your most recent council tax bill.
  • Check that you entered your full name (First name, last name).
