Perinatal and infant mental health specialist health visitors provide support for families experiencing mental health difficulties in the perinatal period offering direct specialist clinical interventions and referring to other services as appropriate.

 

How to access the service

Staff at the Family Hubs, the family's Health Visitor GPs and other members of the health visiting team can make direct referrals.

Local families are often seen at home or at Family Hubs.

Advance Charity - Angelou Partnership

About the service

The Angelou Partnership led by Advance, brings together 10 organisations to support Women and Girls impacted by all forms of violence and abuse including domestic abuse, sexual violence and harmful practices. The partnership works with women to assist in areas such as increasing safety, advice on their rights and options, access to safer housing options, emotional support and links to group work and counselling and support through the criminal justice system including attending court. The partnership includes 10 services including those that offer specialist support to children and young people, to LBGT+ survivors and to women from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities.
