About these courses
Our English, ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) and maths courses can help you:

We offer courses from basic literacy, maths and ESOL for beginners, up to Level 2 (equivalent to GCSE).
Types of courses available
Literacy and English
Learn to be confident reader, writer and communicator. Built the skills you need to progress in life and at work. Our functional skills courses will also help improve your job prospects and develop the skills that employers want.
Numeracy and mathematics
Learn practical maths skills to use at work and everyday life. This includes budgeting, financial management and other everyday number skills.
ESOL – English for speakers of other languages
We offer part-time courses at different levels for people whose first language is not English. You will improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing in English.
All courses include grammar, study skills, employability, and communication skills for life and work in the UK.
