Pay your rent

We offer a range of payment methods to suit your needs, lifestyle, and preferences.  We want to make it easy and convenient for you to choose what’s right for you. 

You can pay your rent by Direct Debit, standing order, rent payment card, or using a debt/credit card over the phone or online.

Pay your rent online

Direct Debit

This is the easiest and most convenient way to pay for residents who have a bank or building society current account. It’s quick, easy and one less thing to remember. It is also the Council’s preferred payment method. We currently offer a choice of four payment dates to suit your needs. You can set up a direct debit using the button below or call us on 0800 137 111. 

All residents who pay their rent by Direct Debit and who have made three clear rent payments using this method now have the chance to win £250 worth of shopping vouchers. You can read the terms and conditions below.

Rent prize draw - terms and conditions
Terms and conditions:
  • The prize draw is open to any person aged 18 and over, who is liable to pay rent to Kensington and Chelsea Council or, set up arrangements to pay their rent via Direct Debit, and are not in arrears. 
  • You must be paying via Direct Debit and not via Standing Order.
  • Elected members and employees of Kensington and Chelsea and their spouses will not be eligible for inclusion in the prize draw.
  • You can win only once during any financial year which runs between April and March of the following year.
  • Arrangements to pay your rent by Direct Debit must be in place and at least three payments made via this method at the time of the draw
  • Tenants whose Direct Debits are return unpaid will be disqualified from the draw.
  • All customers who pay their rent by Direct Debit and are up to date with their rent will be automatically entered into the prize draw.
Winner:
  • The prize draw will take place monthly.
  • The Head of Income and Financial Inclusion will oversee the prize draw.
  • The winner will be chosen at random from all customers with a live Direct Debit.
  • The prize winner must be paying their rent by Direct Debit and not be in arrears with their rent.
  • The prize winner will be notified in writing of the results as soon as practicable after the draw date.
  • The name of the prize winner may be published in the local press and council communications, with the prize winner’s agreement.
  • The outcome of the draw is final.
 Prize:
  • There is only one prize.
  • The prize winner will win £250 worth of vouchers 
  • No alternative prize will be offered, and the prize cannot be transferred to another person.
  • Kensington and Chelsea Council will notify the winner in writing.

By phone

If you have a debit or credit card, you can pay over the phone by calling 0800 137 111 or 020 3617 7080, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Alternatively, you can use the automated payment line (which operates 24 hours, 7 days a week) by calling 020 3974 4670 and selecting option 6.

Online

We have a new Housing Self-Serve Portal for residents (tenants and Leaseholders) to manage your rent or service charge accounts and to raise repairs.

If you have been using SeeMyData portal, you can switch to Self-Serve portal as SeeMyData is disabled now.

To use the new portal, you need to create a new account, using your tenancy reference, your last name and date of birth. If you have any issues registering please contact us on [email protected].

We can accept Mastercard debit and credit cards, Visa debit and credit cards and Maestro.

Housing Self-Serve

To access the new Housing Self-Serve Portal, you will need to register for the service. You will need your tenancy reference to register. Then enter your email address and create a username and password. You should remember those as you will need them to log in. 

  • If you do not have access to a computer there are computers in the boroughs libraries which are available to residents.
  • When you have registered, we will undertake a number of security validation checks to ensure it is a legitimate application. Once confirmed, you will be sent an email asking you to activate your account.
  • Once you activate your account, you can log in using the credentials you created and start using the online service.
  • If you forget your password or username, there is a forgotten details link that you can use. You will be sent an email to reset your password.

If you are a Lancaster West resident, who needs to pay your rent or service charge, or if you want to check your balance, please visit the WeAreW11 website.

You can pay with cash or by cheque. Please make cheques payable to The Post Office Ltd. You will need your swipe card which you can order by using our online form.
