Reset password

If you have forgotten or need to reset your password, you’ll need to verify your email address and create a new password:

  1. Go to Forgot Password
  2. Enter your email address and select Send verification code
  3. Check your email and enter the 6‑digit code
  4. Select Continue
  5. Create a new password and confirm it. Your password must be at least 8 characters and include:
    • 1 uppercase letter
    • 1 lowercase letter
    • 1 number
    • 1 special character (for example ! @ £ $ % ^ & * )
  6. Select Continue

Change your email address

To change your MyRBKC account email address:

  1. Go to Change MyRBKC email address
  2. Enter your current email address
  3. Enter and confirm your new email address

Update your personal details

To update your personal details:

  1. Go to My personal details
  2. Update your information, such as:
    • title (optional)
    • first name and last name
    • phone number (optional)
    • contact preferences (for example email, phone, post or fax)
  3. Select Update to save your changes

Manage your email subscriptions

Email notification disruption
Some email notifications (including planning, licensing and parking suspensions) are currently affected. We’re still sending key decision notifications as normal.

You can view, update or unsubscribe from email updates in your MyRBKC account.

View your subscriptions

To see your current subscriptions:

  1. Go to Email notification subscriptions
  2. View your subscriptions under My subscriptions

If you do not have any subscriptions, a message will tell you.

Add a new subscription

To sign up for email updates:

  1. Go to Email notification subscriptions
  2. Browse the list of available topics
  3. Choose a topic you're interested in (for example streetworks or planning applications)
  4. Select Subscribe

Change or unsubscribe

To update or stop email alerts:

  1. Go to Email notification subscriptions
  2. Go to My subscriptions
  3. Select:
  • Edit to change how often you receive emails
  • Unsubscribe to stop receiving updates

Report a problem

There is currently an issue with reporting problems through MyRBKC. Instead, you can use our online form to report a problem.

Track your reports

To view and track your reports:

  1. Go to My activity
  2. Select All my cases to view your reports
  3. Choose a case to see more details.

Close your account

To close your MyRBKC account:

  1. Go to Close MyRBKC account
  2. Read what will happen when you close your account
  3. Select Yes to confirm you want to close your account
  4. Select Close My account

If you need help

If you do not receive a verification code, check your spam or junk folder or request a new one.
