About the service

There are four Family Hubs in Kensington and Chelsea, offering the following services:

  • health visiting: Health Visitors assess the mental health and wellbeing of women and their families at each contact. Health visitors offer preventative health promotion, targeted support, evidence-based interventions and when needed, timely referral to specialist mental health services
  • support for both parents with perinatal mental health
  • midwifery
  • stay and play sessions: every day
  • outreach support in the home
  • health promotion: for example, smoking cessation support
  • access to a range of support provided by local voluntary sector: partners i.e. Home Start, Family Centres
  • parenting: parenting groups and one-on-one support
  • adult learning: e.g. ESOL classes.
  • baby massage and baby zone

Club Drug Clinic

About the service

Club Drug Clinic (CDC) is a free and confidential NHS service supporting people who want to change the way they are using recreational drugs.

CDC offers non-judgemental support and advice to help you deal with problems you are experiencing with club drugs. They can help you reduce the risks and harm caused to your body, mind and the people around you.

The CNWL Club Drug Clinic has expert knowledge of all types of club drugs so whatever the problem is, we can help you achieve your goal.

The CNWL Club Drug Clinic has extensive experience in working with LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) communities, and has cultural competence in dealing with the drug addiction issues that occur within these communities, including sexual health and use of certain club drugs such as GBL/GBH, crystal meth and mephedrone.

The service offers weekly face to face appointments, but also offers video or telephone appointments.

Families and Communities Employment Service (FACES) Kensington and Chelsea

About the service

FACES offers professional and friendly support to help you into work, training or education.

Registered users will receive the following support:

- A team of coaches committed to helping residents find work and develop skills
- Help dealing with barriers to work, such as childcare, housing or benefit advice
- Training and work experience opportunities to build confidence and readiness for work

On your first visit, your Employment Coach will listen to your work history and work out what kind of work, training or education you want to do. They will also ask you about other areas in your life where you need help or want to improve.

They will meet with you at least once a week for up to six months and help you work out your goals. Your coach will meet with you wherever you feel most comfortable – whether that’s at home or in a local café.
