Grenfell Early Years Consultation - An inspirational nursery
A new home for Grenfell Early Years
Improved services and benefits
This project provides the opportunity to create a fantastic new building for the children and carers of Grenfell nursery whilst also renewing and enhancing the public realm. It will be a truly community-based facility fit for the 21st Century – sustainable, imaginative, inclusive and safe.
The design of the new building will promote a sense of wellbeing for the children with spaces that are full of daylight, plenty of natural ventilation, access to high quality external playspace, and natural and tactile materials.
Located on the ground floor of Lower Clarendon Walk, the upgraded nursery building represents the ongoing renewal and regeneration of the estate. It will achieve this through the vital service it provides to young families and improvements to the wider public realm.
