It would not be in keeping with the style, character, scale, bulk and proportion of the main building and would not preserve or enhance but would harm the rear elevation of the property, the terrace as a whole and the Ladbroke Conservation Area and is therefore contrary to the Council's Policies which seek to maintain and enhance the character and appearance of the Borough as stated in the Council's Unitary Development Plan, in particular, policies CD25, CD42, CD44, CD52, CD53 and STRAT 5.
